#This picture always reminds me about the story #when David was brand new to the show #and it was one of his first times around the set and everything #and she was having a smoke #Some kids came running up and squealing ”Rose!” #and she was taken off-guard and flustered #but she didn’t want the kids to see her smoking because she thought it set a bad example #So Billie shoved her smoking butt into the nearest person’s hand #And that person just happened to be David #But the kids didn’t recognize him because the first episode with Ten hadn’t aired yet #So he stood there holding her cigarette #while she signed autographs and took pictures #and the kids generally ignored him (via gallifreyburning)
